Loss of Earning After an Accident

A patchy earnings history

An entrepreneur suffered a serious knee injury, preventing him from work or foreign travel. His past earnings record was erratic, and he was involved in numerous very diverse and multi-national projects, ranging from telecoms to sailing to product and property development. His financial affairs were complex, and his accounting records wholly inadequate for estimating his earnings but for the accident.

Through a series of meetings and information gathering, we were able to piece together the prospective values of his ongoing projects and estimate those losses to compile a report for disclosure.

The matter was settled, achieving £0.5million in damages.
