BTG Advisory continues evolution with new Partner to lead M&A offering

BTG Advisory, part of the Begbies Traynor Group, has appointed Gunjal Patel as Partner to lead its UK and European M&A offering, as the firm continues to evolve its business and portfolio growth services.

Gunjal brings more than a decade of M&A and corporate finance experience supporting private equity, founder-owned and publicly-traded clients across the UK, US and Europe. 

Specialising in mid-market M&A, Gunjal has a proven record of delivering innovative and tailored advisory services to maximise value for clients across multi-million pound cross-border, domestic and complex carve-out transactions. 

His experience comprises of multiple engagements between £25m and £250m for a range of companies across sectors including Aerospace & Defence, Consumer & Leisure and Business Services.

This latest appointment continues to build the firm’s advisory services and follows a series of senior additions to the BTG Advisory team across forensics and debt advisory disciplines in the last year. This includes partners Kate Beckett, Sannan Khan, Jack Clitheroe and lead for Special Situation M&A in London Felix Connolly as well as Vijay Merchant and Greg Forde, who Gunjal will work closely with to deliver a full-service offering covering both M&A and debt advisory.
