Matrimonial Dispute

Real Estate

Complex business affairs

Husband was engaged in property investment and development, conducted through dozens of separate business entities, some holding investment properties and others for building projects. The corporate structure was complex, with different ownership structures in various entities. Husband had grouped the companies into four business segments totalling £2.2million.

Acting as a single joint expert, we valued husband’s business interests on an entity-by-entity basis and aggregated them as appropriate to arrive at an overall total.

We identified that three of the four segments had been fairly estimated by husband, but the fourth was in at only about half its value. We came to a total of £2.6million.
