Our Forensic Accountants were appointed by the solicitors acting for the insurers of a law firm in a claim faced by the insurers of £175m. Our experts reconstructed the cash flows of the football club on a daily basis over two years, restating these as if the takeover had not taken place.

This proved to be a highly complex undertaking. We concluded that the club would have gone into a form of insolvency process in any event and that therefore any loss was small. The matter settled after mediation.
